Salesforce — lead export

Automatically write Swopi leads into Salesforce (Lead or Contact). One-click connect via Salesforce sign-in — production and sandbox, no API keys.

The Salesforce integration turns every new Swopi lead into a Lead (or Contact) right in your Salesforce. Web-card leads and manually added contacts show up in Salesforce — ready for your sales team.

One-way push via the Salesforce REST API. Swopi never deletes anything in Salesforce. The connection is native OAuth — sign in with Salesforce and click Allow, no API keys to paste.

#Prerequisites

Your Salesforce edition must include API access. For the smoothest setup we recommend connecting with a System Administrator account. Non-admins need Create/Read/Edit on Lead, Contact, Account and Read on Campaign.

#How to connect

Dashboard → Integrations → Salesforce:

  1. Pick the environmentProduction account or Sandbox account. (We recommend starting with a sandbox and sending a few test leads.)
  2. Click Connect Salesforce → sign in with your Salesforce account.
  3. On the Salesforce screen click Allow.
  4. Done — you're returned to the configuration and leads start syncing.

#Sync settings

Option Description
Automatic sync Leads are written to Salesforce right after capture. Turn off for manual sending.
Primary sync object Write leads as a Lead or a Contact.
Campaign ID (optional) Adds every new lead to the given Salesforce campaign (Campaign Member).

#Field mapping

Swopi field Salesforce
Name FirstName / LastName
Email Email
Phone Phone
Company Company (Lead object)
Job title Title
Note Description

Leads are deduplicated by email — an existing record is updated, a new one is created.

#How it works

  • Leads added manually in the dashboard and from a web card sync automatically; push older contacts once via Sync to CRM → Salesforce.
  • Use Create test lead to verify the connection.
  • Everything is logged in Sync Logs (success/error).

#Troubleshooting

Symptom Fix
"Access wasn't granted" Connect with a System Administrator account and click Allow.
Lead wasn't written Check that your Salesforce edition has API access and the integration user has rights on the object.
"Connection waiting to activate" The one-time Swopi setup hasn't finished yet (activates shortly after deploy).

#Disconnecting

In Integrations → Salesforce click Disconnect — access is removed and writing stops; the tile returns to "Set up". Records already created in Salesforce remain.

#Field mapping

Choose which Swopi field goes into which field here in the Field mapping tab (Dashboard → Integrations → this integration). How it works + the defaults: Field mapping.
